The Rimouski Oceanic can trace their roots back to one of the founding clubs of the QMJHL; the Sherbrooke Castors (Beavers). The team would relocate to Saint-Jean-Sur-Richelieu in 1982 but kept the Castors name initially. Eventually in 1989, they changed it to the Lynx. The club relocated to Rimouski 1995 and will forever be known as the Junior home of Sidney Crosby. Pictured is an early Sherbrooke Beavers puck along with a current Oceanic puck.
