The Screaming Eagles can trace their roots back to the Sorel Black Hawks (Eperviers) who played in the QJHL prior to becoming a founding member of the QMJHL in 1969. The team relocated to Verdun in 1977 before returning to Sorel during the 1979-80 season. The club left for good in 1981 to become the Granby Bisons. The team changed their name to the Predateur in 1995 before relocating to Cape Breton in 1997 becoming the Screaming Eagles. Pictured is a vintage Sorel Eperviers puck along with a current Screaming Eagles puck.
